Talking Drawings: Dealing with Collectors

Master Drawing New York Online Events are hosted by Drawing America

Collecting drawings wouldn’t be possible without the efforts and perspicacious talents of art dealers.

This year’s Conversation features a trio of dealers specializing in master drawings who have spent decades working with collectors and museums and sharing their scholarship through catalogues and exhibitions.

Join us for a lively and engaging discussion led by Jennifer Tonkovich, Eugene and Clare Thaw Curator of Drawings and Prints at The Morgan Library & Museum.

Dealers will share insights into how the drawings trade has evolved as well as observations on the behind-the-scenes realities of being a drawings dealer.

Jennifer will be joined by international dealers Jill Newhouse, Stephen Ongpin, and Alan Salz of Didier Aaron to explore the ways in which they have helped to shape private and public collections.
