“I’ve been drawing and painting, almost all my life. And I’ve been a part of the urban sketching community for about 15 years. I’ve sketched all over the world, from where I live, in Denver, Colorado, to Montana, Texas, New York, Chicago, California, Europe, and South America. I sketch everywhere, at home, out running errands and coffee shops, while traveling… In my Drawing America video, I sketch a train on location from start to finish. I’ll share some advice and tips I’ve learned from thousands of hours of drawing and highlight a few of the techniques I use to give my work its signature look.”
