All levels are welcomed.
In this class, we will focus on classical figure drawing techniques. We begin with a short discussion/demo of drawing techniques, followed by students working from a single pose for the rest of the session with teacher feedback. There is a live model for each session.
Materials: If you are looking for a good pencil set to bring we recommend these and a good drawing pad like this one.
We take a break every 20 minutes. During the session, instructor Lucas Bononi works with each attendee individually helping them with their individual drawing challenges.
The session is designed to be a combination of practice and theory in the same class.
Since each attendee comes to the session at a different level and with different challenges it is our goal to work with each person individually.
• Please bring a pad up to 18×24, a 2H, HB, and 4B pencil, and an eraser.

Lucas Bononi (b. 1991 | Los Angeles) Is a contemporary painter living and working in New York, NY. Lucas reflects the sensation of nature through the lens of the modern world. It is through this lens that he invites us to question the relationship between beauty and chaos, as well as, figuration and abstraction. Currently, his solo exhibition titled “The Forest” is on view in New York, NY.
