|Artist or Student Biography||
I was an advertising illustrator for 19 years, with agents in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles before entering the entertainment field where I worked as a layout artist, background painter, and a visual development artist for Disney Feature and TV Animation, Nickelodeon Animation, and Sony Feature Animation.
I have an MFA in the studio arts from the Claremont Graduate University in California, and am now an Associate Professor at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA. I presently teach for the Entertainment Arts Track in AC’s Illustration Department and in the Entertainment Design Department. I won ArtCenter’s Great Teacher Award in 2012, an award granted by student vote.
