Thank you Paul and Draw America for the sketch-together session today. It was a lot of fun! Here’s my sketch. It is Copic, Micron, and white Sharpie on Strathmore toned gray sketch pad. And my Instagram is http://www.instagram.com/zoungyart for those who are interested. #guestsketch

Paul, when you and I talked for a minute, you mentioned your current favorite fountain pen. What was it again? I should have wrote it down. Thanks!

Hi Terry, I think I was talking about the Hero M86 fude nib fountain pen. Discontinued, unfortunately. Hero does have a few other good fude pens on the market. I think the one I like the most is the 9018. Also, the Sailor Fude de Mannen pen is a good inexpensive fude fountain pen to start experimenting with.

I so enjoyed the sketch session! Thank you! I didn’t have a way to do an ink wash (used markers), but can’t wait to pick up a few supplies and try it! Find my art @vanee.ink on Instagram

Hi all. Thank you so much Paul and Drawing America for hosting this sketching session. It was fun and challenging as well as a bit outside my comfort zone! I worked a bit more on this truck to add some detail and that extra tire I didn’t see at first. I made some obvious mistakes in interpretation, but I had fun drawing nonetheless. I was so inspired by watching Paul work that I tried another truck the following day. Thanks for everything. I have an IG account although it’s mostly my farm life and a smattering of my creative work. You are all welcome anytime. Stay safe. Thanks for sharing. @roxytee3
