WINNERS ANNOUNCED June/July/August 2023 Drawing Contest – Summertime Theme
As the summer takes root in the northern hemisphere, we wanted to celebrate the theme of Summertime for our June/July/August contest. We have also added two more prizes for Honorable Mention because we had a lot of great submissions.
We are looking for an original drawing or painting that uses the theme of Summertime in any way the artist sees fit.
First Place Prize is a $200 Amazon gift card, Second Prize is a $75 Amazon gift card, Third Prize is a $50 Amazon gift card, and the two Honorable Mentions will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
This contest is free to enter for all Drawing America members.
To Enter: Submit one original image created in the last 12 months by clicking REPLY to this post. Only one submission is allowed per member.
You must be the creator and copyright holder of the image. We accept any 2-dimensional medium (except photography). We also accept digital drawings and paintings (except AI-generated or augmented images).
The Deadline: August 31, 2023 midnight EST. – Winners Announced: September 7th, 2023
Winners are selected in the following manner: First Prize: guest judge (TBA), Second Prize: selected by Drawing America, Third Prize: highest number of likes (in the event of a tie, DA selects a winner).

When will the winners be announced?

Hello Everyone,
We are sorry for the delay in announcing our winners.
We had a small group of submissions and still, it was very challenging to judge (as it always is).
