Join Drawing America for a four-part figure drawing workshop focused on value drawing and proportion correction. This workshop is taught by artist and educator Marshall Jones.
Sessions take place on Tuesdays, January 7, 14, 21 and 28th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm in our beautiful Gramercy Park studio located in the historic National Arts Club.
Students will learn to control the values of their figure drawings, an excellent tool for anyone interested in painting. Correction of proportion will be stressed during these sessions as that is the most highly requested technical skill we are asked for.
Mr. Jones is an exceptional teacher who is both knowledgable and patient (like all Drawing New York teachers).
We encourage our students to attend this workshop if possible so they can learn as much as possible from Mr. Jones.
Material List: Strathmore Drawing Pad https://amzn.to/2XOQpzy , 2H, 2b and 4B drawing pencils, kneaded eraser.
