(R) Famous Palette’s With Peter Donahue: Caravaggio
Step into the shadows of the Baroque era in this focused, standalone masterclass on the methods of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.
Originally part of the "Famous Palettes" series, this recorded session goes beyond art appreciation to deconstruct the specific mechanics of Caravaggio’s vision. You will explore how he broke from the "corruption of light" theories of his time to create a revolutionary, visceral language of high contrast. Instructor Peter Donahue guides you through the history, physics, and practical mixing techniques required to emulate the master’s dramatic lighting using modern materials.
