Swann was incredibly gracious, removing the drawing from the wall, peeling back the cellophane and matt so I could view this large drawing directly. It is precisely this experience, the physical joy of our eyes, the subtlety of the medium, that is lost when viewing the image online or in print.
Get yourself in front of original art as often as possible.
